On Thursday, March 17, Yahad-In Unum welcomed a group of Barnard College Board Members to our Paris office to hear Father Desbois and Yahad researchers speak and to view our new exhibit, “Women at the Frontline of Mass Violence Worldwide.” This new exhibit focuses on the specific, and often silent, brutality women face as the victims of mass crime and genocide. Based on our interviews on the field, the exhibit features photographs and testimonies from women survivors of the Holocaust by bullets in Eastern Europe, the Roma genocide, Yazidi women who were victims of ISIS in Iraq and indigenous women from Guatemala who were victims of the internal armed conflict.
