Centro-Sefarad in Madrid, Spain welcomed our team members and our exhibit on January 15, where it was on display until February 12. The exhibit’s opening at Centro-Sefarad provided an opportunity for us to host a training workshop for Spanish teachers. More than 70 teachers attended the workshop, where Yahad Team Leader Alex Kosarevskyi presented the history of the Holocaust by bullets, Yahad-In Unum’s background and mission, and the resources we offer teachers, including our interactive map and teacher’s guide, to use in their classrooms. Additionally, Mr. Yves Saint-Geours, French Ambassador to Spain, spoke during the training workshop and later toured the exhibition with Yahad team members. Overall, the exhibit received 2,100 visitors from Madrid and its surroundings.
