Each year, Yahad-In Unum organizes the visit of a delegation of Catholic bishops to the United States, at the initiative of Cardinal André Vingt-Trois. These annual visits were established by Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, one of the co-founders of Yahad-In Unum. This year, the delegation’s visit took place from February 21-25, during which the participating bishops had the opportunity to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C, where they were able to reflect on Holocaust education and genocide prevention.

During their time at the museum, the delegation members were welcomed by Paul Shapiro, Director of the Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at USHMM and participated in a round-table discussion on “The Holocaust in the age of terrorism.”
